CLASSICAL CHINESE MEDICINE MEETS MODERN ANATOMY

A DIFFERENT CLINICAL MODEL – ASSESS –> TREAT –>  REASSESS –>  REFINE

More Than an Acupuncture Treatment

Each session is designed as an active, one-on-one clinical process of assessment, treatment, reassessment, and refinement.
Rather than following a predetermined acupuncture protocol, Dr. Yang works to understand what is happening in your body and what may be contributing to your symptoms. Findings from pulse diagnosis, structural and physical examination, symptoms, and health history are brought together to guide an individualized treatment strategy.

Treatment may combine acupuncture, hands-on Structural Reduction Therapy, and classical Chinese Medicine, depending on what your body needs that day.

Most importantly, the assessment continues throughout the session. Dr. Yang observes how your body responds, reassesses key findings, and adjusts the treatment accordingly during each session.

1. Assess the whole pattern

Dr. Yang looks beyond the painful spot and consider structure, movement, tissue tension, nerve,  blood circulation,  lymphatic circulation,  systemic functions,  genetic and epigenetics via classical Chinese Medicine Pulse diagnosis and the broader Chinese-medicine pattern.

2. Treat what is driving the problem

Treatment may combine Structural Reduction Therapy, acupuncture, herbs and individualized clinical strategies rather than relying on a single technique.

3. Reassess before you leave

We look for meaningful change in pain, movement, tension, function, or other relevant findings so the next step is based on response, not routine.

Lumbar Stenosis

CLINICAL CARE

For patients who want depth, not volume.

“The visit is structured around understanding what your body is doing and treating you as an individual — not moving several patients through rooms at the same time.”

Each session is designed as an active clinical encounter: assess, treat, reassess, and refine. The goal is not simply to place needles and leave you resting in a room, but to develop a clear understanding of what is happening in your body, identify the possible root cause of your primary concern, and restore greater balance and function to help relieve your symptoms.

30-Minute Focused Visit

For established patients or focused follow-up care when a shorter visit is clinically appropriate.

60-Minute Comprehensive Visit

Recommended for the initial visit and for more complex presentations, detailed reassessment, and integrated manual therapy + acupuncture.
